Kara Pedersen

Kara Pedersen, a Middlefield native, is a REALTOR® with extensive knowledge of Central Connecticut and the CT River. With a deep appreciation for architecture, history, and the art of interior design, she brings a unique perspective to real estate that goes beyond just finding or selling the perfect property. Her passion for design informs every aspect of her work, from recognizing a home's potential in a fixer-upper to helping clients envision how they can make it their own.

Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Interior Design Certificates from Paier College of Art and the New York Institute of Art and Design. With two certificates and years of experience in the design industry to guide her, Pedersen's business, Simply Kara Nicole, LLC, focuses on real estate as well as home staging and redesign, allowing her to offer clients a complete, full-service experience from property search, home selling to endless design possibilities. 

Active in local and surrounding communities, Kara volunteers her time and is involved with initiatives, including the Durham Fair, the Middle Haddam Historic District, the local PTO, and Connecticut Foodshare. Kara enjoys music, boating on the CT River with her two kids and husband and is on a mission to try every coffee shop in CT to find the perfect latte - check out her popular #CoffeeCorner.
